What are your opening hours?

Opening Hours are Monday to Friday 8am - 8pm & Saturday and Sunday 8am - 8pm. 

These hours do NOT reflect and/or include schedule times and times of availability and students will already be scheduled to times. Please contact me as availability times will vary from week to week.

How much do you charge?

$60 per hour or $40 per half hour + $20 Travel Time 

(Includes Equipment Transportation, Petrol & Toll fees)

 

When do I have to pay?

All programme fees must be paid in full 4 weeks in advance.

Tuition Fees are due at the First Lesson of Every Month. This payment will guarantee 4 lesson appointments within that month. Please pay promptly. Students who do not pay at their first lesson will receive an email reminder. Accounts with unpaid balances by the 15th of each month will receive late notices by mail. 

 

If tuition is not paid by the third week of the month, Choice Bro Tuition reserves the right to withhold lessons until tuition is paid.

 

What are the ways to pay?

The most common way to pay is generally CASH.  Due to COVID-19 however, additional options have been included.  You can pay by internet banking or deposit into the following account or through email PAY ID.  If you are unsure what PAY ID is and/or how to set it up, contact your bank they will help you to set this FREE service up for you.

Can I use my "Creative Kids" Voucher with your service?

No.  However, I am looking in to this.

Do you give a discount the more children I have with your service?

The prices are negotiable depending on financial circumstances, the amount of persons/children in the service.

Do you do group sessions?

No.  In order to minimise the spread of COVID-19 and for the safety of everyone, group sessions are no longer in session.

What will happen if I want to change my time?

CANCELLATION POLICY

I reserve the right to charge up to the full amount of a lesson or the amount of an hour-long session, whichever is the lesser, in the event of cancelled lessons less than 4 hours before the scheduled start time of the lesson.   Additionally, I reserve the right to charge this same cancellation fee for no shows.

If the lesson needs to be cancelled or rescheduled, please inform me through email at least 24 hours before the lesson begins. A no-show is a student who is more than 15 minutes late. For no-show students, a cancellation fee equal to the full amount of the lesson will be assessed. If the student is going to be late to the lesson, please feel free to inform me that way I do not consider the student to be a no-show and therefore continue with the cancellation fee.

What will happen if I do NOT show up?

Acceptable reasons for cancellation

The student will not be charged for the lesson if the lesson is cancelled solely due to:

  • the tutor cancelling the lesson for any reason, or failing to be at the agreed place at the agreed time for any reason;

  • the student being sick (as certified by a medical practitioner);

  • the student having an appointment which is:

  • important and urgent, and

  • unable to be rescheduled;

  • the student and the tutor agreeing to cancel the lesson without charge;

  • the student’s requirement to appear in court for any reason;

  • the student cancelling the lesson with sufficient notice;

  • any other unforeseeable event which should reasonably take precedence over the student’s attendance at the lesson.
     

Unacceptable reasons for cancellation

The student will be charged for the lesson if the lesson is cancelled due to:

  • the student’s lateness, including but not limited to lateness due to transport delays;

  • a reasonably foreseeable or regular event which would otherwise satisfy any of the acceptable reasons for cancellation above, with the exception of a court appearance;

  • any event which is unable to be rescheduled due to a lack of planning by the student;

  • other work or study commitments;

  • any unexplained failure to be at the agreed place at the agreed time.

Furthermore, the student will be charged for the lesson if:

  • the student fails to give sufficient notice of the cancellation of the lesson, unless the lesson is cancelled for an acceptable reason as defined in this document; or

  • the student’s failure to give immediate notice of the cancellation causes significant inconvenience to the tutor.

 

What can I do if I want my child to leave for holidays?

If you wish to move or cancel your lesson due to a holiday, please see the Cancellation Policy.
